Situated in the picturesque town of Chamonix, just beneath Mont Blanc in the French Alps, is Moody Coffee Roasters – a small artisan coffee shop and roastery, and a hub for locals and holidaymakers all year round.
Moody are known for their exquisite locally roasted coffee and delicious handmade cakes and pastries. I worked with the owners, Ian and Georgina, on creating a brand identity to align their look with the high quality of their products, and to help them to scale the business.
The logo took inspiration from the surrounding mountains that dominate the landscape and give Moody their unique position of being the only coffee roasters in Chamonix. For the packaging I created a very clean and simple design with a strong typographic system for the labels.
